Pineapple Curry Recipe : Pineapple pachadi
Ingredients
Pineapple - 1 (cut into small pieces)
Green chillies - 3 nos
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt -1 tspSugar - 2 tbsp
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
Curd - 250 gm
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 3 nos
Curry leaves - 7 nos
Oil - 2 tbsp
Preparation Method of Pineapple Curry.
1). Cook pineapple pieces along with chilly powder, turmeric powder, sugar and salt.
2). Grind together coconut, cumin seeds and green chillies.
3). Once pineapple is cooked and becomes soft, add the coconut paste and cook for 5 - 10 minutes, Then add curd, boil for few minutes.
4). Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
5). Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add red chillies and curry leaves.
6). Pour this seasoning into the above curry.
7). Serve
