Vendakka (Ladies Finger) Thoran
Ingredients for Ladies Finger Thoran Recipe
Ladies finger (Vendakka) - 1/2 kg
Onion (large) - 1 no (finely chopped)
Green chilly - 2 nos
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
Pepper powder - A pinch
Salt - As reqd
Preparation Method of Vendakka Thoran Recipe
1). Cut ladies finger (Vendakka) into small pieces.
2). Heat oil in a pan.
3). Add mustard seeds.
4). When they begin to crackle, add onion, green chillies and ladies finger with salt.
5). Mix well and keep it covered.
6). Do not add water at all. Stir after every 3 minutes.
7). When the ladies finger shrinks, and the onions turn brown, add pepper powder.
