Green Peas Curry

Ingredients for Green Peas Masala Curry Recipe

Green peas  - 1/2 kg
Onion - 2 nos
Tomato - 1 no
Garlic-ginger paste - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 4 nos
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - A few
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Salt - As reqd

Preparation Method of Green Peas Masala Curry Recipe

1). Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan or kadai.
2). Add garlic-ginger paste.
3). When a good aroma comes, add sliced onion and green chillies.
4). Saute till they change colour.
5). Add tomato into it.
6). Add all the powders and stir well for 1 min.
7). Add the green peas and add 1 cup of water and leave it for boiling.
8). When the gravy becomes thicker, switch off the stove.
9). In another pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil and splutter the mustard seeds and curry leaves and add this to the curry.
10).Garnish the curry with chopped coriander leaves.
