Coconut oil – 2 tablespoon
Mustard, fenugreek – 1/2 teaspoon each
Tamarind – 1-2 small pieces
Carrot, potato, beans, drumstick – 2-3 each
Daal (parippu) - 1/2 cup
Small onion – 2-3
Garlic - 2-3
Green chilly – 2
Red chilly - 2
Red chilly powder- 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tablespoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Assefoetida (kaayam) - 1/2 tablespoon
Curry leaves, salt – to taste

How To Cook
First, slice all the vegetables in average size. Then boil daal in pressure cooker. Also boil sliced vegetables along with sliced small onion, garlic,
assefoetida, turmeric powder and salt in the cooker and wait for one whistle. Take a pan and heat some oil. Then spurt mustard, fenugreek, red chilly
and curry leaves. Also add red chilly powder and coriander powder and stir it till the oil can be seen. Add this masala to the boiled vegetable in the
cooker and mix it well. Also add tamarind water to make it tasty. Serve this special Kerala item in a bowl.
Note: More vegetables can be added to increase the taste
