Tomato Rasam
IngredientsCoconut oil - 2 table spoon
Mustard – 1/2 teaspoon
Fenugreek (uluva)- 1/2 teaspoon
Small onion, garlic, red chilly – 3 each
Curry leaves, salt – to taste
Tomato – 2
Pepper powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Asafetida (kaayam) - 1/2 teaspoon
Water –2 cups
How To Cook:
Heat oil and spurt mustard and fenugreek. Then add crushed curry leaves, small onion, garlic, red chilly and stir it till it turns brown in color. Add
sliced tomato, pepper powder, assefoetida and salt and add water to it. Cover the vessel till it boils. Remove it from fire and serve in a bowl.
