KOLKALI
It is also a traditional Kerala art very popular amongst the ordinary village people. The participants will use short wood sticks on both hands.They will arrange themselves around a lighted floor lamp (Nilavillaku) with seven wicks.There are separate folk-songs for Kolkalli. The participants sing the song and make steps forwards and backwards.They strike the sticks with another's sticks rhythmically. The starting will be in slow motion but end with quick tempo.
